That painting captured such a sense of space. This painting is beautiful. My love of long walks in light rain, and foggy haze - times that reveal such extraordinary nuances of colors and the spatial qualities of things resides within this work. When I was a student back in the early 70’s, I had a wonderful drawing professor; Herbert Olds who always had us draw only the space in and around thins. The more complicated the setting the more intriguing the challenge. I see this understanding of the possibilities in your work. I haven’t been so compelled to buy a painting for years.
